The new comer AirphilExpress combines the name of Airphil and Pal Express to directly compete Cebu Pacific, the leading domestic airline in the Philippines. Owned by Lucio Tan, AirphilExpress promises that it will offer low fares to conquer the domestic flights which is continously increasing every year due to the low fares offered by competing airlines in the country.In addition to its current fleet of eight Bombardier Q400 and Q300 turboprop aircrafts, AirphilExpress will be utilising Airbus A320-200 which is capable of carrying 177 passengers.
